finally i decide to come back here to start posting again.
orientation was well, stupid, talks, talks, followed by some lame cheers and lame dance. so i shall not say anything about it. the best part was probably amazing race and investiture. they are the closest to whatever you can call "class bonding", though we came like 3rd last for amazing race and kinda screwed up the corundrum thing for the investiture, but compared to the rest of the orientation, it was way way way better.
anyway its a new year, a new class, a new computer, a fresh start. so i shall try to avoid all the boring depressing stuff, doesnt help in anyway.
ok, first proper week with lessons, got mr yee again for maths, ms fong for phy (its like almost confirm A already), mrs song for chem (she's a very good teacher, million times the teacher imbufe ever was and ever will be, but she is TOO overly entu, i have absolutly no idea how on earth she can continuously keep smiling throughout the ENTIRE lesson and just keep jumping around like that. but at least her explinations are very good.), most probably pradeep for bio, which is half good, probably confirm A as well, mr lim (some new teacher, not bad) for english.
i so better get into geog and esp that class, if they open any more classes then i'll probably lose all the chances already. sigh...
microeconomics is currently suspended until further notice, most probably because of some timetable problems, this year's timetable is completly screwed up, which school has 45 min lesson? this is just plain ridiculous and i have a strong feeling its because of the new management, esp with all the new and totally useless MOE regulations that the school is suddenly adopting which there were totally no mention of last year and the year before.
hm, lit class is kinda screwed up as well, the lost for my class has like 10 people, and half of them are on waiting list, and how on earth is ms koh going to conduct a 10 person class, i think she has taught smaller lit classes before but the module outline looks like its designed for more people so i expect somthing should be done soon, merging classes or something along that line.
tmr, going to have some principal dialoge thing and they better better do something about the geog classes. i mean this is completly ridiculous and just simply shows a complelte lack of management, organization, foresight, and ability to cope with sudden changes on all levels of the school, system, ok maybe the teachers understand the problem, but everything above that is just either plain blind or stupid, or wants to get fired, i dont care if our lessons go into like 6pm+ as long as we have enough class times, and we can take the lessons and modules that we want, i mean whats the point of taking the module and in the end not everything can be covered it seriously completly defeats the WHOLE purpose, and if they ever really end up having a bell every 45 mins i'll just go crazy, its just plain stupid, has the school maybe ever thought that instead of "trying" to help the students by implimenting such useless things, maybe actually thought of really doing somthing that will actually benifit the student polulation and not just piss everybody off.
anyway, i think my project grouping for like the next 4 years are going to be limited like crazy, its like jiaqing, taiyu, maybe some of the girls and thats about it, unless some tan shoun or yong qin like person suddenly emerges from one of the newcomers, i think i'll just play abit more conservertivly for the time being, cos im never never ever going to work with one of those ******(too racist to type out word) unless the teacher forces it upon us and even so i am so going to try to get out of the group even at the expence of a few marks, cos ultimatly i'll lose even more working with them.
chem grp is settled but i think i'll have abit of a problem with bio, i'll probably need to bring in a couple of people, most probalby 2 of the girls cos i dont even want to think abt working with any of the other guys, other then jia qing and tai yu which i think we shld be alright already especially since they share almost the same ideas as me.
this year will be a riducously ahrd year for me, but at least i think i can and will try to be more invloved with more gakai activities, esp dance, i really want to learn how to dance, esp hip hop.
on top of that NE shld keep me busy throughout the whole year, actually it already is. and help me from losing my sanity to the class, which might happen sooner than i think.
ok, its like 1.35am already and i think i shld get some shut eye. and finish the earth week proposal before that as well, i think we are raelly behind schedule for that already (and its only the start of the year).
now that i have entered a new year, hopefully, just hopefully, it will not be as bad as whatever i just said and improve. well, only time will tell and hopefully i can record all of it down so by the end of the year i can see if i had made any improvements and if i hadnt, why, and how can i do so next time.
