today had sports day/ national day celebrations. went for the first christmas island trip briefing and lecture from 9 to 11.30. i really dont regret going for the trip, it looks like its going to be very fun. but then again, i might be wrong. finally i get to go to a proper nature reserve, not like what they call a "nature reserve" here in singapore, christmas island is a real proper nature reserve, like 63% of it is protected, most of the island is rugged terrain, plenty of wildlife everywhere, and finally an ecology field course, i have been hoping for 1 the entire time! its going to be a hell of a time.
went back to the physics lab after that, ping liang and bryce were messing up the entire lab and messed up my com. i leave bryce with my com for 2 hours and like magic, when i got back, he was reading through gerlyn's blog. if he really wanted to do that, at least find a better place then the physics lab in front of everybody, and use somebody else's com!
got skipped lunch again, been skipping lunch for 3 days straight now, on monday because i was bloody pissed, on yesterday because there was no time left by the time i decided to grab somthing to eat, and so time after that because i needed to rush for that talk on time. and today, because i couldnt be bothered to.
the marching part was completly bull. they couldnt even march in proper straight rows or in unison, and the NCC group is so pathetic that they couldnt even form a squad, much less do a parade, so they roped in all the student leaders and anybody who they could find. but still, for a first try, it was ok. though they could have cut down on the clique stuff like the inspection thing, its not even a proper parade and they wanted to do somthing like what the SAF does for ndp. but i supposed they should at least be applauded for trying to do somthing, better then last year.
watched the first event, C girls 400m, before going off to play basketball. cant remembered who got first, but tiffany got second, hanisah got third, wypeng got fourth, joanna got fifth, some year 1 got sixth, and germaine got last. didnt find out till later that some what appeared to be foul play happened. managed to understand part of what was going on, but i have no idea what a female mentality is like, other then that its unlike a male's, so it was too confusing, too complicated, too unreasonable to be able to help sort it out. really wanted to try to help out, but seeing that it was a all girl kind of fight, and shoun also didnt understand what the problem was anyway, and he also didnt want to intervene, so we decided to back off and try to see what we could do once everything had simmered down.
anyway, went to play basketball with bryce using utkrash's basketball, realised how out of shape i was. and after seeing the sports meet today, i am more determined then ever to go and do some running and by myself at least once a week and build up my stamina, i WILL get a gold for napfa next year, and at least attempt to run in one of the events for the sports meet next year.
got chased back to the grand stand by mr ang, then tian lu brought me to this thing at the sixth floor to get into the auditorium from the sixth floor without having to break any bones. it is some small narrow metal bridge along the celing of the auditorum that leads to the back of the audi where by opening the door, will lead you to the staircase directly behind the auditorium, allowing you to sneak in without having to face anybody guarding the front entrance during a concert or anything like that. nearly got caught by some random lady who was at the back of the stage and the only place where the walkway can be seen.
went back down and found yq and shoun. had another "talk" with them. somtimes they actually provide moral support and encouragement, but most of the time, its nonsense and more for laughs then for seeking any advice.
came back just in time for the prize presentation. and surprise, surprise, fleming got last again. and faraday won the overall house title. now i just cannot be bothered with this kind of nonsence any more.
stayed back on the track, found ot about that whole very intricate and complicated incident of whether tiffany broke the rules or not. then ms tan suddenly called me over and asked me to take a picture with her. that was just some really scary, random thing. of all the other people there, why me? that was just scary, especailly since i hate taking those kind of pictures, in fact, i hate posing for pictures, dunno why some people love them so much.
stayed back about 20 minutes to try to clear up the mess that has started between the girls, dont even know why i m getting myself invloved in this.
dad was pretty pissed at me being so late, would have stayed longer if not for the fact that my grandpa's birthday was today and they were going out for dinner. the car was getting kind of screwed up, there was like very little power in the engines, like it was about to die or sth, probally a leak in the fuselage causing not enough petrol to get into the engine to combust. high time to change a car. trying to convince them to get a BMW next, so i can take it after i get my diver's licence in year 6, so i can drive a bmw to school! that would be damn cool!
this few days of break probaly going to be rushing through projects, there is logic, bio and phy currently, which doesnt exactly leave alot of spare time especailly with ndp tomorrow, actually today since its already 1am. and i'll probaly be too tired to do much work tomorrow. so that mean that friday and sat have to chiong like crazy.
