yesterday was the most ridiculus thing ever, had to stay until like 7pm in sch to do ur podcast and summit my bio report. and the worst part is when i went back to put everything together, i realised that sth went wrong during the recording, so there was totally no sound at all! so today had to finish everything. chem was a complete joke, wasnt paying attention during much of the class. execpt that i rmb that he was giving us some complete crap during class, his value of the speed of an electron at ground state was 1/3 the value he told us last week, at this rate it is going to be negative and going backwards some time in the forseeable future. and bryce managed to prove that the equation for Schrodinger equation that he gave us in the notes were wrong. so he got the correct and proper equation from mr imbufe today and he is like totally stumped by it, it is absolutly riduculus for any year 2 student to be able to understand it, i think its undergrad kind of stuff. then i tried msning stella during chem class cos i was bored but she took so long to respond that the class ended by the time she responded.
today was very, very, very, slack. during mentoring we made a complete joke of the quiz we were supposed to ans based on some lousy barely educational video on reconissence scientist, mostly abt gallieo, kepler and the huy who invented the printing machine (whatever his name is). i mean its nt even scientifically or historically accurate. e.g gallieo never actually dropped to balls of differnt weights from the leaning tower of pisa, in actual fact he roll two balls down a slope becuse a slope has more rissistance, so if there were any difference in the time it takes to roll down the ramp, it would be significantly larger and easier to identify conpared to dropping two balls from a tower and seeing if they hit the ground at the same time. so we wrote some absolute nonsence for the quiz, i think mr tang or whoever is marking looking through the quizes is going to either laugh thier heads off if they get ur group's jokes, or is going to be really pissed at us for not taking it seriously.
then during english, i was chatting with utkrash who was directly across the room, and i was sitting in the first row, right in front of the teacher's table. today she allowed coms becuase quite alot of people brought thier laptops to do their podcasts. then had a short convo with ky b4 going to do do the class activity which we made into almost as funny as the quiz during mentoring session.
then i had 4 hours of slack time until 6.30 for astro. i left the com with yu jian because he wanted to use my laptop and the mouse and touchpad were screwed up anyway, and i wanted to go to xiang qi anyway. went i got back, the battries of my laptop were gone, and i found out that utkrash took them. after i managed to take it back, i went back to sit with joanna, raghav, he hao and timo, he hao and timo were eating half a water melon each, apprently they got it from some year ones. then i gave up trying to fix back my mouse and trying to retype my previous post which i had to retype 3 times due to technical errors, i went for astro.
at astro we were divided into differnt groups based on our choices. i got into media something and technology. which is bacially getting to play with all the computers in the astro club, which are 1 or 2 in the phy dry lab and 2 in the observertory. sth abt wanting to link up the coms in the observertory with sth else next time. they should have divided the club long ago, its to freaking big! later spent the whole night up in the observertory looking at some star clusters, M5, M6, the jewel box, and the double double star system. but actually spent more time talking nonsence with some of the year fives, mikiel, ching pin and some other guy. thoes guys are absolute jokers, i'll be bored to death without them there. so busy talking that i didnt realise that mr lim dissmissed all the year 3s and below, so by the time he realised i was sitting with the 3 of them below the telescope, it was already 9.30, and might as well since my dad just arrived. and thanks goodness that there was some year 5 guy in the hostel who was going to the school when i came down, because the gate was locked and can only be opened with the hostel or teacher's pass, if nt i would hav to go up and ask 1 of the year 5s to help me open the gate.
